New Year’s Day seemed to make things happen. If my list of 10 things could come true, then maybe my New Year’s Resolutions would have a good chance of coming true, too.
A few years later I decided to make a New Year’s Resolution to learn to play the guitar, and so I wrote down “The Year of the 100 Chords”. I knew I would never be able to learn 100 chords in a single year, but it sounded good, so I added it to my resolutions.
Nothing happened! I just couldn’t get enthused about playing the guitar. I had one excuse after another for not starting.
I was so bored by spring that I decided to take a course at the college. Nothing in the course schedule interested me, but there was a music appreciation course. (more…)
Several years ago I was reading a book. The book was probably a Christmas present. In this book there was an exercise, it said to write down the first 10 things that pop into your head. Don’t think! Just write down the first 10 things that come into your mind. And then check throughout the year and see if all of these things happen.
So there I sat on New Year’s Day. Since it was a the beginning of a new year, I thought it was a perfect time to write down my list of 10.
The 4th thing that popped into my head was the Wizard of Oz. I frowned. I do not like the Wizard of Oz. I tried to watch it more than once, but never got through the whole movie. Using psychic energy to make someone like you, can be done. I have seen it done myself. I also saw the bad results of this psychic technique. Let me tell you a story, so that you might want to be a little cautious about misusing your psychic abilities to force other people to do things.
The day was several years ago. I was out in the country with a group of friends for a weekend class. This class was not connected to the Institutes, it was a class a friend of mine suggested. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Which came first, the infusion of psychic energy or “the discovery” the energy made possible? Or was it the “the discovery” and then the infusion of psychic energy?
I remember the night there was so much energy pulsing through my body that I had to run for an hour to try to control it. Where did that energy come from, but more importantly why did it have to leave.
I remember the night I stood in my living room and suddenly I felt I was somewhere else. I was standing in a barren land. It seemed to be a desert that stretched forever, but I knew it contained a tremendous amount of knowledge. The knowledge was so vast that I couldn’t even bring it back, it was beyond words. It’s Monday today. I am left alone in my house as my family scattered out for meetings seemingly all over the country. I have been watching the television periodically all day. There is a tropical storm that will maybe even turn into a hurricane out in the gulf. It is forecast to hit Galveston Island, the place where I was born. Although I now live further inland, the weather here will probably be windy with lots of rain. I have been through 5 major hurricanes in my life, this one seems like a baby in comparison.
But the storm got me thinking back into the past. I didn’t have much money back then and my son was yelling at me that he needed a drum set. And I was thinking about how nice it would be to have a keyboard and the roof was leaking and needed to be replaced. Naturally the roof came first and I had already called the roofing company who had plans to begin installing it the next week.

When I did a keyword search on Wilhelm Reich, the words “Kirlian photography” came up. Those particular words made my eyes do a double take and my ears perk up. My instructor, who taught me for years about psychic energy at the Institute, did his thesis on Kirlian photography for his Masters Degree in Physics. Sometimes he would discuss his experiments with us during class.
AND it seems that I am not the only one interested in the subject… the Russians are very interested.
What is Kirlian photography and why should you and I care? Well, it seems that it is a way to photograph the energy field of not only you and me, but also dogs and cats and birds and… little green plants, and big towering, scary plants. (more…)
