I was reading an article tonight and it was talking about when you open up your psychic abilities, you will be attacked by all kind of negative energies. People would have you think that when develop psychic abilities you will be attacked by…well…EVERYTHING.
Somehow you would become wide open and people would suck out all your energy. Then all kinds of negative things would we swirling all around, just waiting to attack you. Psychic vampires would be hiding behind every door. You would be glowing in the dark, signaling, “Come and get me. I am wide open. I am helpless. I am vulnerable. I am weak.”
So the article got me thinking, “Holy cow, no wonder people are afraid, if they believe all this stuff.” (more…)
The human body has a built in psychic protection system. Most of the time you have psychic shields up to protect yourself even if you know absolutely nothing about psychic protection.
But there are circumstances when you voluntarily drop your shields.
These are the places you are most vulnerable for an attack:
1. During meditation with other individuals
2. On the Internet
3. Around children
4. With friends

Many times when people are good friends or relatives or in other close relationships, they will connect to each other using a psychic cord. Just think of it as a rope connecting two people together. A psychic will usually tell you to disconnect that psychic cord and plug the end that is left on the other person into a tree so that they won’t lose energy, and then seal your own end of the psychic cord.
That sounds simple enough, but disconnecting from other people you have been in relationships with is not quite that simple. There are at least 2 other factors involved.

The attack can be traced even if it occurred at an earlier time.
